Description
This outbuilding, located 10 meters west of Longstock House, is possibly an original shooting box dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from flint, featuring both knapped and rustic nodules, with brick bands and dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is single storey and sits on a cellar, measuring four bays by two bays. It has a brick plinth and two bands of knapped flint and brick, with corners made of rustic nodules. There is a planked door in a gothic opening in the right center bay, while the other bays also feature gothic openings. The left bay contains render and two-light gothic casements. The walling between the hipped roof and the stack, located to the left of center, is made of rustic flint nodules.
