Description

Romain Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Station Road in Over Wallop. The cottage is constructed of rendered cob with a thatched roof. It is two storeys high and has an irregular three-bay arrangement. A timber and rendered brick gabled porch was added around the early 20th century, positioned approximately centrally. There are two-light casement windows on each side and a similar window at the left end and on the first floor. The roof is hipped to the right side, featuring a projecting end stack, and half-hipped to the left side, with a stack at the end of the roof.
