Description
Lloyds Bank, located at No 22 High Street in Andover, is an early 20th-century building. It features a symmetrical facade on the west side, comprising three storeys and five windows. The design includes a blocking course above a modillion cornice. The upper walls are rendered, accented with stone features such as quoins, architraves that extend to the first floor, a band at the first floor level, and rusticated stonework on the ground floor, which has arches and an impost band with panels below the cills, as well as a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals. The shallow porch is topped with a cornice, and the doorway is adorned with a cornice on brackets and an architrave. This doorway is vertically aligned with the first-floor window, which has a pediment, and the second-floor window, which features a keystone.
