Description

Malt Cottage is a late 18th century cottage range that has been converted into a single dwelling. It features flint and thatch construction and is one storey high with an attic. The building has an irregular arrangement of windows, a hipped roof at the west end, and a gable that returns to the south front, along with eyebrow dormers. The flint walls are accented with brick dressings, and some of the brickwork is in English bond, although there have been many alterations over time. The windows are casements, and there is a French door at the front and a half-glazed door at the rear.
