Description
Clatford Oakcuts is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century. It features rendered walls and a steep slate roof. The front of the house, facing north, has two storeys and three windows, following a three-bay layout. There is a large chimney breast situated between two units, reflecting a late 16th-century style, while the timber-framing inside and on the west gable shows a later pattern, which may explain the name of the property. The windows are three-light casements, and the doorway has a moulded canopy with a three-panelled door that is glazed at the top. The rear elevation is similar to the front but includes additional windows from the early 20th century. At the west end of the building, there is a single-storeyed outshot that dates from the late 19th century.
