Description
The monument to the Percival family, dating from 1693, is located 25 meters south of St Andrews Church. It features a stone base, a monument with a finial, slate inscription panels, and wrought iron railings. The base measures 3 by 3 meters and is surrounded by barley-sugar patterned iron railings. The square panel monument has slate inscription panels set within a stone architrave on each face. Above this, there is a heavy cornice, followed by a step and a plinth that supports the finial. The finial is designed with four console brackets that hold a foliated ball.
