Description

A row of three cottages and a small house dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, with a slate roof. It comprises three irregular two-bay cottages and a three-bay house. The cottages have a six-panel, top-lit door in one bay, and sixteen-pane sashes in the others, with a similar window above the door in the central cottage. To the left-hand side of the row is a house with a central six-panel door and a radiating fanlight above, flanked by sixteen-pane sash windows on each side. There are three similar sash windows on the first floor. All window and door openings have rubbed brick arches. The eaves of the house are slightly higher than those of the cottages. Brick stacks are located at the right-hand end of the house, and both the house and the central cottage, as well as at the right-hand end of the cottages.
