Description

SU 70 NW HAVANT LEIGH ROAD Havant 16.5.52 4/18 No. 19 (Elmleigh House) II

House (now 8 units). Circa 1830 with late C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Stucco, hipped slate roofing. Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Upper sashes, ground floor splayed bays with cornice on brackets and French windows with narrow side lights. Wrought- iron trellis balcony above a stone pavement, with open 'pilasters' (having diagonal patterns) on each side of thin columns, with arched tops. The east elevation of 2.1 windows has a projecting north side, and old sashes. The building has been extended later to the north and west.
