Description

The Old Anchor is a former house, public house, and club, now functioning as a restaurant. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of stucco with a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features irregular window arrangements with mixed casements. The entrance is marked by a wooden doorcase that includes cornices, a frieze, and a reeded architrave with square blocks at the corners, leading to a six-panelled door, two of which are top-glazed. The roof is hipped at the corner. The building is included for its group value.
