Description
Streetend Copse consists of a pair of cottages dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The western unit, which is longer, is from the 17th century. The cottages are two storeys high and have a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with two on each side. They feature a red tile roof that is half-hipped at both ends, and the older part has a catslide roof at the rear, along with a central chimney stack. The western cottage has exposed timber framing in the upper section, while the infill and the remaining walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond on the east side. The windows are casements, and the current doors are centrally located for each unit, each with a gabled tile-roofed open porch.
