Description
The School House is a mid-19th century building that served as a National School, designed in the Tudor estate style. It features a single-storey school section and a two-storey house attached on the north side. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with red tiles, complemented by diagonal chimneys on square bases and a small flat-topped pyramid turret. The walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with darker bricks used to create intricate patterns of diapers and 'arrow-slits'. There are bands at the cill level, along with brick mullions and transoms. The casement windows have metal lights, featuring octagonal shapes within a reticulated pattern. The front boundary wall is notable for its pierced brickwork.
