Description
Floods Farmhouse is a building from the 17th and 18th centuries. It has two storeys and an attic, with five windows. The roof is made of red tiles, half-hipped at the south end, gabled at the north end, and features a catslide at the rear (west). There are two recent attic windows. The east front is constructed of red brickwork and includes a projecting band at the first floor, cambered openings on the ground floor, and a plinth. A built-up window above the doorway, located at the second bay from the south end, indicates that the building was once two houses, each with three windows and a central door. The windows are mostly casements with mullions and transoms. The remaining doorway has a canopy supported by brackets.
