Description
Parsonage Cottages, dating from the 17th and 19th centuries, are a pair of two-storey cottages located on Church Road in Dogmersfield. The cottages feature an exposed timber frame on the north gable and the east front. The upper floor has five windows. They have a red tile roof that is half-hipped, with a large brick chimney and a smaller stack located in the center of the north gable. The ground floor has red brick walling where the timber frame has been lost, particularly at the south end, which includes cambered openings. The windows are casements with diagonal leaded lights. The former central door has been blocked and replaced by two Victorian open timber porches, which have decorative barge-boards, simple wooden pillars, and pilasters.
