Description

Tundry House is a house dated 1836. It has two storeys and a 1:2:1 window arrangement. The roof is slate, with lower ridges to the projecting wings. The walls are now roughcast, with a plain band along the eaves. The windows are sash windows set in reveals, and have stone sills; the ground floor openings are cambered. At the centre, a recess has been filled, almost flush with the old porch, which has pilasters in a Tuscan style surrounding an arched entrance with a fanlight above a six-panelled door. The east elevation has a 1:2 window arrangement, with a projecting bay on the north side. The north elevation also features a 1:2:1 window arrangement, with gabled ends and painted brickwork. Beneath the gables is a bay above a French window.
