Description

This is a 17th-century thatched cottage located on Church Road in Dogmersfield. The house is timber-framed, with clearly visible large main and narrower vertical and horizontal timbers, reinforced with diagonal struts. The spaces between the timbers are filled with painted brickwork. A red brick wall is located on the southwest side. The thatched roof features eyebrows over the upper windows and extends downward to form outshots on the northwest and southwest corners. A brick stack is present. The windows are casements.
