Description

Pilcot House is a 17th and 18th century, two-storeyed timber-framed house located on Church Road in Dogmersfield. The building consists of a larger eastern block with a central chimney stack and a slightly lower western extension added in the 18th century. It features a red tile roof with half hips and catslides on the south side of the eastern block, which dates from the 19th century. The exterior is finished with painted brickwork and includes infilling to the frame and other walling. The windows are casements, and there are ground floor bow windows that serve as shop windows on the eastern side. A modern porch has been added to the entrance.
