Description
Dunley Thornfield Westfields is an early 19th-century terrace consisting of three units, each featuring three windows and a central doorway. The building has a slate roof that is hipped at the ends. The upper floor is rendered, while the ground floor is made of painted brickwork. The openings are slightly cambered with rubbed arches, and each door has a round-headed window above it, although the window above Dunley's has been recently altered. The windows are sashes set in reveals with narrow side panels, and each unit includes a French door. The doorways are plain and round-headed, with a fanlight above, and there is one old door at Thornfield. Originally, the design included a verandah, which is now missing. At the rear, there are various extensions of mixed design and period, with the one behind Thornfield being an older block that features a partly exposed timber frame in a gable.
