Description

32 High Street, known as White House Cottage, is a building that dates from the 16th century with early 19th-century alterations. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The roof is covered with red tiles, and the walls are roughcast. The first floor has casement windows, while the ground floor has small angular bay windows, also with tiled roofs. The doorway includes a flush-panelled door set in a solid frame, topped with a gable supported by brackets and decorated with ornamental bargeboards. The building retains an earlier timber frame structure within.
