Description

Nos 15 and 16 on The Street are 17th century buildings that stand two storeys tall and feature one window on the ground floor and one on the upper floor. They have a red tile roof with gables at both the front and rear, and the west gable is tile-hung in a scalloped pattern. A shafted chimney stack is present. The timber frame is mostly exposed on the upper floor, with red brick infill. The slight projection of the gabled front suggests that the upper floor may have been jettied, while the ground floor wall is flush and supported by two buttresses. The windows are old casements with leaded lights, and there is a plain doorway.
