Description
Church Farmhouse is an early 18th century to early 19th century building. It features a symmetrical front on the east side, consisting of two storeys and three windows, which were altered in the early 19th century. The house has a red tile roof and brick dentil eaves. The walls are painted brick with cambered openings and stone sills, while the central upper window is square and has a keystone. The windows are Victorian casements.
The doorway is topped with a canopy that has a moulded edge and a panelled soffit, leading to a solid moulded door frame. The entrance features a six-panelled door, two of which are top-lit, and is accessed by curved stone steps with curved wrought-iron side rails.
On the west elevation, there are three half-hipped gables, with red brick walling in Flemish bond and blue headers, as well as half-timbered gables. The first floor has cambered openings. The upper part of the north side displays the year 1721 in blue brick headers, while the return north wall features the letters W and M. The windows on this side are also casements.
