Description
Wyeth House is a 16th-century building that was refronted in the late 18th century. The north front features two storeys with a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. An extension to the east adds one more window, while a small window is located in an outshot on the west side. The roof is made of red tiles, with a half-hipped design on the east and a gable on the west, topped by a shafted stack. The walls are rendered, showcasing plain openings and a high plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals. The doorway is framed simply and topped with a canopy supported by carved brackets, featuring a six-panelled door. At each end of the front, there are two stone-capped brick piers on a plinth, which are separated by a wall that contains a doorway; this doorway is square on the west side and arched on the east side.
