Description

The barn at Pilcot Farm, located to the northeast of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features a four-bay structure built of timber framing. The vertical supports hold a tie beam, with diagonal struts and sloping struts leading to the purlins. The walls include top-plates, side girths, and ground cills, all with diagonal strutting. The roof is covered with red tiles. The upper part of the walls is boarded, while the lower half is filled with brick.
