Description

The cartshed at Pilcot Farm, located to the north of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is continuous with a barn and features a lower roof with a narrow span. The structure comprises seven bays, with timber verticals, tie beams supported by small curved braces, and short diagonal struts. The roof is covered with red tiles and is hipped at the south end. The walls are made of red brick of varying ages, with the frame exposed at the southern end.
