Description

The barn at Pilcot Farm, located to the north of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features five bays and has a central outshot that reaches full height on the east side. The structure is timber-framed, with vertical posts and diagonal struts connecting to the tie beams and purlins above. The roof is covered with red tiles and is half-hipped at the three gables. The upper part of the walls is boarded, while the lower part is made of brick, with the frame resting on a brick base wall.
