Description

The cart shed at Lodge Farm, dating from the 18th century, is located to the south of the farmhouse. It features five bays with an aisle on the south side. The structure is built with a timber frame and includes a Queen post truss, supported by steel girder columns at the open front of the four bays. The roof is covered with red pantiles. The aisles have block walling that extends around the east gable, which is clad above in corrugated iron. The western bay has a heavy timber frame that is brick-nogged, with the upper gable being weather-boarded.
