Description
The Old House is an 18th-century building located on the east side of Church Street in Crondall. It has two storeys and features a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with three windows on the ground floor and three on the first floor, plus an additional window in the central unit. The roof is covered with red tiles, and the walls are finished in stucco.
Notably, the second unit from the south has a gable shaped like a pediment above a cambered sash window on the first floor, along with a doorway that includes a canopy supported by brackets, a six-panelled door, and steps leading up to it. The windows are grouped in threes within later-added angular bays that extend over two storeys and contain casement windows. There is also a plain two-storey unit attached to the north, which features a garage opening.
