Description
The Fox Public House, formerly known as The Old Fox Tavern, dates from the 18th century and features an interesting Victorian public house facade. It is a two-storey building with two windows on the first floor. The first floor is finished in painted cement and has a banded parapet, with fluted pilasters framing the two windows. In the center, there is a decorative piece displaying the letters "FOX TAVERN." The ground floor is constructed of glazed brick, featuring arches, mouldings, and flush coloured bands. The central window is an ornamental bay made of hardwood. The colour scheme includes red, yellow, light and dark green, with white lettering in the frieze.
