Description

Farthing House and Hamble House, located at 40 and 42 Newtown Road in Warsash, are early 19th-century buildings featuring a stuccoed facade with quoins and a hipped slate roof. The structures rise to 2 and a half storeys, including a basement, and have four windows. There is a band at the first-floor sill. The entrance bay is off-center, advanced, and two storeys high with a flat roof, leading to a round arched entrance. The windows are three-light sashes with late 19th-century glazing. Additionally, there is a door on the north side with steps.
