Description
Nos 45 and 47 on Newton Road are 18th century or earlier single-storey cob cottages that were incorporated in the early 19th century into two-storey cottages. The ground floor is built of brick, while the first floor is tile hung. The building features a tiled roof with a catslide at the rear and a brick modillion eaves cornice. There are three chimneystacks and three casement windows. The ground floor includes one original casement window and three modernized casement windows. Additionally, there are two simple doorcases with cambered architraves.
