Description

This building comprises two early 19th-century properties on High Street, Fareham. The facade is rendered with a stucco eaves cornice and a parapet that rises centrally. It is two storeys high with three windows in total. The windows are generally unbarred sash windows; the southern window has margin lights. An angular bay window is present on the north side. The ground floor now features modern shop fronts. Numbers 4 and 5, together with the other listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, the listed street lamps, numbers 1 and 2, the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul on Church Place, and the Red Lion Hotel and number 10 East Street, form a group of buildings of group value.
