Description

This building, comprising numbers 8 and 9 Union Street, dates to the late 18th or early 19th century. It has a rendered facade featuring a cornice and a coped parapet, and is topped by a slate roof, punctuated by two dormers. The building has three windows. The ground floor is characterized by two canted bay shop windows, each with a door, all beneath a cornice, with brackets above the doors. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The listed buildings in Union Street are considered to form a group with those in High Street.
