Description

Courts Warehouse is an early to mid 19th century warehouse located at No 10 East Street in Fareham. The building is constructed of red brick with coped gable ends and features a corrugated iron roof. It stands three storeys tall and has five windows. The windows on the first and second floors are round arched and multipaned, while the ground floor windows have flat arches. The warehouse occupies an important position at the junction of East, West, and Union Streets. It is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 13 (odd) Surgery and Fareham House, as well as Nos 10 and 12 and the Red Lion. The Red Lion Hotel and Courts Warehouse also contribute to groups on Union Street and High Street.
