Description

Tudor Cottage is a timber-framed cottage dating from the 16th to 17th century, located on Swanwick Shore Road in Lower Swanwick. It features square panel framing with red brick infill and has a hipped thatched roof that slopes down to a single storey at the west end, which faces the road, although the cottage is set back from it. A later dormer breaks through the eaves. The northern facade is two storeys high and has two windows in a roughly four-bay layout. The windows are early 19th-century casements with glazing bars, including one first-floor window that is set in a projecting wooden frame supported by a bracket.
