Description

Oak Cottage is an 18th-century building located in Sarisbury Green. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and features a brick string course at the first floor. The roof is tiled and has end chimneys. The cottage has a two-storey rear cross wing and stands two storeys tall overall.

The front elevation includes two sash windows on the first floor, which have moulded boxed frames and glazing bars. The ground floor features flat bay windows with hipped roofs, along with 19th-century casements that also have glazing bars. A central gabled wooden porch with a scalloped bargeboard and finial adds to the character of the building. Oak Cottage is part of a group with Corniche Cottage, which is of local interest.
