Description
A Regency house, built in the early and late 19th century, and now divided into two dwellings. The house is constructed of rendered walls with a plinth. It has a low-pitched slate roof with a moulded eaves cornice featuring modillions. The south elevation is symmetrical, originally featuring three windows over two storeys, with a two-storey, single-window extension set back at the western end and a separate roof. The windows are sash windows, and those on the ground floor are French windows with narrow side panes. These open onto a paved verandah with a cast iron framework of four bays, decorative eaves, openwork posts, and a concave leaded roof. The entrance at the east end has an oval-arched doorway with a fanlight and a half-glazed door, set within a half-glazed late Victorian porch. Inside, the house retains an original plain staircase and panelled doors within architraves.
