Description

These oasts and barn, located 30 metres north of Passfield House, were built in the early and mid-19th century. The complex comprises a rectangular, two-storey block with a slate roof, featuring boarded upper walls with windows and doors, and an open cartshed below. Attached to the east end is a pair of oast houses constructed of rubble stonework with two circular drums, characterised by brick dentil eaves and steep conical roofs (covered in cement over brickwork). At the west end, there are two further oasts, one square and one circular, built in a similar style with a slate roof over the square block. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
