Description
The stable and kitchen garden wall, located 30 metres northwest of the Manor House in Upper Froyle, dates from the early 19th century. It features brick and stone construction with a tile roof. The stable is a rectangular block of two storeys, characterized by irregular openings and a half-hipped roof. The walls are primarily made of brickwork in Flemish bond, with sections of coursed chalkstone and brick quoins at the corners and a plinth. There are altered openings that include 20th-century details. The enclosing wall is constructed of coursed chalkstone, featuring a high plinth marked by a brick band and a brick weathering band at the top, supporting the upper wall of brickwork in Flemish bond.
