Description
This building is a barn located 55 metres south-west of Summerley, dating from the 17th century and the mid-19th century. It consists of two parts with brick and flint walls, topped with a roof made of corrugated iron and slate. The earlier section on the east side features a three-bay timber frame, which includes one aisle and a central wagon entrance. The western section also has three bays, with its west wall angled to align with the roadway. This part has a slate roof and walls constructed of flint, enhanced with brick quoins, verticals, and bands.
