Description

The 'Hop Poles' Public House dates from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey, five-bay building. The exterior is colour-washed ashlar with a slate roof. The ground floor has four sash windows and two plain doors, while the first floor has five sash windows. A single window is present on both floors at the end facing Butts Road. The building forms a group with No. 1, the 'Duke's Head' Public House in Butts Road, and numbers 89 to 95 (odd) and 106 to 112 (even) in High Street.
