Description
The Stable and Malthouses, located 10 metres east of the Manor House, date from the early to mid 19th century. The building features brick walls and a tiled roof. The southwest elevation showcases the original stable and coachhouse, which has a symmetrical two-storey front. This includes a projecting centrepiece with a carriage entrance flanked by windows that are now filled in, along with three upper windows, the centre of which is an oval light. Each side has one upper window and a series of ground floor openings that are also filled in. The roof is hipped with brick dentil eaves, and the walls are constructed in Flemish bond, featuring a first-floor band, cambered arches, and a plinth. The windows are casements. At the rear, there are three two-storeyed units, two of which are attached, that comprise oasts with lower wings. The oasts have a tall hipped roof, while the wings have a half-hipped roof. The rear walls are built in English bond, with cambered openings and a plinth.
