Description

Quidhampton Mill and Mill House date to the 17th, 18th, and mid-19th centuries. The mill is a timber-framed building, largely brick-clad to the south front, featuring buttresses and small, cambered openings. The east gable has a bricknogged upper portion. The lower section of the half-timbered structure is red brickwork with flint panels. A footway above the waterway runs in front of the mill, supported by three brick arches flanked by brick walling. Attached to the west end is a house dating from the mid-19th century, built with one storey and an attic. It has a tile roof with three gabled dormers, their cills at eaves level, and two Tudor-style stacks with coupled diagonal flues. The house's walls are a mix of flints and red brick, with quoins, bands, and a plinth. It features casement windows, and a red brick gabled porch with an arched opening.
