Description
Lee Farmhouse is a late 18th century to early 19th century L-shaped house that stands two storeys tall. The main front, facing west, is symmetrical and features three windows. It has a hipped tile roof with brick dentil eaves and is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with cambered openings and a plinth. The windows are wood casements, and there is a double door set within a solid framework that includes a five-panel fanlight, all beneath a slender Tuscan porch adorned with Greek mouldings.
At the rear, the house extends eastwards with four joined projections, each capped with a hipped roof. The northern projection is longer and includes a single-storey extension. These features reflect early 19th-century design, including a French window. The building has two chimney stacks, one of which is a large tapered structure that rises from the single-storey unit, indicating that part of the house may have older origins dating back to the middle of the house's history.
