Description

White Cottage is a building dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is a one-storey structure with an attic and features a thatched roof, which is complemented by two eyebrow dormers. The east end of the cottage displays exposed timber-framing that is brick-nogged, while the majority of the walls are constructed of painted brickwork in English and Flemish bonds, featuring cambered openings. There are signs of alterations, including a filled former opening that has a plaque dated 1677. The cottage has casement windows and a brick porch.
