Description

Spring Cottage is a two-storeyed house dating from the 17th century, with early 19th-century and modern additions. The west side of the house displays exposed timber framing, infill brickwork, casement windows, and a slate-roofed outshot that has been altered to create a porch. The east front features four upper windows and is constructed of red brick, with a central porch. The windows here are early 19th-century metal casements with a diagonal glazing pattern. The south gable is also of red brick, laid in a Flemish bond pattern.
