Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th and 18th century building. It is a one-storey and attic cottage with a prominent thatched roof featuring dormers. The building exhibits an exposed timber frame, incorporating cruck construction internally, with painted brick infill and other Monk bond walling. The lower portion of the roadside gable incorporates flint panels. There are casement windows and a plain door.
