Description

The White House is a timber-framed house that dates from the 16th, 18th, and 20th centuries. It features later cladding, a forward-projecting wing at the east end, and a recent extension at the west end. The building has two storeys and contains between one and four windows. It is topped with a half-hipped tile roof and has a shafted stack. The walls are made of painted brick in Flemish bond, with cambered openings on the ground floor and a plinth. The windows are casements. The entrance is located in a small corridor at the angle of the building, which has a low-pitched pantile roof.
