Description

Longcross House is an early 19th-century building located on Newbury Road in Kingsclere. The house features a symmetrical front on the west side, consisting of two storeys and three windows. It has a single-storeyed north wing and later rear extensions. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, while the eaves are adorned with brick dentils. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, incorporating blue headers and cambered openings. Above the doorway, there is a small circular opening. The windows are casements, and the entrance is sheltered by a trellis porch topped with a concave lead roof.
