Description

The Round House is an early 19th-century former toll house located on London Street in Whitchurch. This octagonal, two-storey building features one window on each face, although some of these are blank. It has a slate roof with wide eaves supported by rustic posts, creating a verandah that is interrupted at the rear by a small outshot. The walls are roughcast, and the windows are complete casements with cast-iron diamond frames. There are also two plain doors.
