Description
Upper Wadwick House, formerly known as Upper Wadwick Farmhouse, is an early 19th-century building with later 19th-century alterations. It features a symmetrical front facing southeast, with two storeys and an attic, and three windows. The house has a steep hipped tile roof, which includes one large dormer added later. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches and stone cills, along with a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with the ground floor windows being wider. There is a Tuscan porch that leads up eight stone steps, featuring a half-glazed door framed by a reeded architrave. The sides and rear of the house have undergone alterations and additions at a later date.
