Description

Carter's Corner Farmhouse, formerly known as Highfields, is a Grade II listed building that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. The original structure is L-shaped and features a timber frame. The ground floor has been refaced with red brick, while the upper part is tile-hung. The south-west wing is weather-boarded and includes a gable with an attic window. The farmhouse has a tiled roof and casement windows, along with a brick chimney breast on the south-west wall. It stands two storeys high and has three windows. An additional north-west wing was added around 1930.
